Gerald Mervin Vanenburg serves as the Ambassador of Europa Challenge. Gerald Vanenburg is a former Dutch professional footballer And Current Trainer At Ajax. To this day he played 372 matches all over the Eredivisie as well as scoring 112 times for Ajax and PSV cumulatively. Operating between the two clubs, his career saw him win 15 major world titles, one of which was the 1988 European Cup with PSV. Gerald Vanenburg at one time worked in the youth academy of PSV and then was head coach at Helmond Sport and FC Eindhoven. Especially since his retirement as Assistant Coach at Willem II in 2009. Gerald Vanenburg’s followers liked to call him ‘Vaantje’ or even ‘Geraldinho’. Never the less, both nicknames suited him perfectly during his 20-year career. As a driven Coach, he draws on two decades of experience in the elite training of youth footballers to create an appropriate support mechanism for personal and interpersonal challenges encountered by the players and to create opportunities for the aspiring athletes to succeed on and off the pitch- with a focus on soccer development, setting their path to stardom in European Clubs. Europa Challenge has bigger ambitions for the youth players, those who aim to build a career out of football or those who pursue Soccer Development and wish to have other strings to their bow too- level the playing field for the American players in Europe and build beyond soccer.
With training methodology focused on development, individual improvement, and team strategies, Europa Challenge scouts the raw talent with training on fronts like technical, position-specific, power, agility, mental aspects, etc. Building on technical and mental abilities in parallel, the players learns to deliver a game that we call good football. Europa Challenge offers an array of services that include Talent Scouting Camps, where camps worldwide are set up to identify players to play for our International Program. Individual player development brings in place a comprehensive program to develop an athlete player, for a period of 2 to 3 months broken into multiple stages. Player Placement and Management serves best the aspiring players to find a spot in professional Soccer and build a career. The trials and placements take place due to collaborative effort between Agents, professional clubs, And Soccer academies. Europa Challenge hosts numerous prestigious international soccer challenge Events in Europe which features the players from USA and all over the world. the Player who wish to travel and train in Europe, get involved in international games, and explore the beautiful places in the Netherlands.
